Hi All,
Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.
So far as we know the house, sheds and vehicles/equipment have all gone. But we are very thankful that the stock at home which we couldn’t move out in time, appear to be ok.
In saying this, we will have to monitor them over the next couple of days for smoke inhalation which burns to their airways which can kill them. I have more stock to check tomorrow.
However, the ones at home, having been saved is nothing short of a miracle and a direct answer to prayer. I have spent all arvo until about 11pm shooting burnt stock at our neighbours.
Today was a very big day. The firestorm that we were enclosed in from 3 sides at once was certainly the wort that I have ever seen. It was a great initiation for Jesse and I doubt that he will ever see it again.
In relation to the whole day, we both have had terrific peace and comfort, even when faced with an almighty finger of God. Knowing He was our God helped a lot. As far as things we had, we know that we were custodians and stewards of His possessions, none of which was ous in the first place. So He is free to do as He wishes with them. We can honestly say we are at peace and blessed. All glory be to Christ. Family and friends rate much higher than these possessions.
Today was an exceptionally serious day that needed to be faced with trust in God.
I praise Him for the strength and courage that He gives my family.
